"Loyalty is Royalty"

I studied Political Science and Economics to serve as a leader in society. One of the first lessons I was taught was that the best form of government is, theoretically, a benevolent Kingdom. That is a King who's ultimate motive is to serve his society, in good faith, to the best of his ability. Initially, I was taken aback by the fact that it wasn’t Democracy, but my concern turned to agreement when it was quickly clarified that it was due to the fact that decisions were faster in a Kingdom than the bureaucratic systems of lawmaking, which are drawn out and often stalemated, ending in no decision at all. However, why “We the People” have chosen Democracy as a form of government over the theoretically best decision is to keep leaders in check from changing their benevolence to selfish malevolence (which happens a lot, especially in weak Democracies) and because of the many different races, religions, and differences in opinion about so many topics.

If we individually governed ourselves as “benevolent” Kings and Queens, we would make the best decisions for the People we serve. After all, we all do something for a living that serves others needs, and in return, we are compensated. Unfortunately, we do not all make the best decisions for the people we serve. Some make poor decisions because they are unhappy with what they do and some just don’t care. If you have any issue figuring out what a benevolent decision looks like, I’ll give you an easy way to check for yourself. Would you make that decision for your newborn baby?

I want to be clear; I believe in democracy because there will always be people that will not make the best decisions, so a system of checks and balances is absolutely vital for us to even have the freedom to make a decision. We as humans are corrupt and need a democracy to keep us in check because we often do not making the best decisions. Power is not evil, but it can easily be used for evil, and so we must all have the power to oppose evil constantly. Many of us let people that we come across in life change our chemistry, attitude, and decision-making negatively. You give them power over how you rule your life. If you leave all of that and LIVE like you had everything you needed to make the best decisions, you would be a great benevolent ruler of your life.

Life cut my political aspirations short, but it took me down another path where I can still serve. I believe if we all got good at one thing that we like and are good at it and served each other with it as our “product offering,” we would all be financially strong. I have chosen real estate as what I enjoy and have chosen to be good at, so I invite you to take advantage of my expertise while adding your expertise to my network. So, please pick something, be enthusiastic about it, get great at it, and serve us with the best value you can with your product, and we will always stay economically strong.

You may be afraid to make mistakes. You WILL make mistakes. That is guaranteed. Your decisions based on your information from today may turn out being wrong tomorrow, but if you can stay on top of things, reach out to the people, and correct your error with a better “offering” every 6 months to a year, you will eventually be very much appreciated and called out for your achievement. If we all had to do that same work just to stay on top of those things, we would procrastinate or be too busy staying on top of our own field to provide the best value to even ourselves.

Be loyal to the people you serve and crown yourself like I did. After all, loyalty is royalty, and I promised to be loyal to all People that I serve.
